Ratan Tata, the renowned business leader and chairman of Tata Sons, who died on Wednesday, will be accorded a state funeral by the Maharashtra government. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, describing Tata as a “unique combination of ethics and entrepreneurship” declared a day of mourning in the state on Thursday to honor the esteemed industrialist.
