Juventus men’s first team secured a 1-0 win against Standard Liege in their second friendly ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The only goal of the game came in the 55th minute, when Fabio Miretti headed into the top corner after a free-kick. The game saw a number of young players get their chance to impress, with Standard providing a tough test.

FIRST EPISODE NEAR
The first chance of the game came in the fourth minute, when Vasilije Adzic tried his luck from a distance but failed to trouble Matthieu Epolo. At the start, Juventus also put together a good move involving Adin Licina and Adzic, but the Montenegrin’s cross was easily saved by the goalkeeper.
The Bianconeri gradually took control of the game and, after a promising start, created their best chance in the 19th minute: Pierre Kalulu broke down the right and delivered a precise cross into the box for Douglas Luiz, who rose to meet it with a header but sent the ball over the bar.

The home team continued to push forward, but Juventus defended in a structured fashion, relying in part on the defensive work of Manuel Locatelli and Kalulu himself.
Towards the end, Luciano Spalletti managed to take the lead, although they were under pressure from Standard. Oboavwoduo nearly doubled the lead in the 77th minute with a fine solo run that tested the Belgian goalkeeper, while Mattia Perin was called upon to make a crucial save, first with Rayan Touzghar’s long-range effort and, notably in the 91st minute, when he saved Nguyen’s stunning cross from Bernard.
