Betting on the Dolphins in 2026: Super Bowl odds, total wins and our best bets

It’s rebuilding time in Miami as the Dolphins move on from head coach Mike McDaniel, former No. 5 pick Tua Tagovailoa and the team’s top two receivers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. New coach Jeff Hafley will be tasked with developing an identity on defense, while De’Von Achane and free agent signing Malik Willis will lead the offense. This iteration of the Dolphins will be found as clear underdogs in most games until it can prove to bettors that they can compete, as Miami is the second favorite for the fewest wins in 2026 behind the Cardinals.
We take a look at everything you need to know before placing a bet on the Miami Dolphins future below, including odds, favorites, 2026 schedule, offseason changes and more before sharing our preseason betting strategy for the team. Odds with DraftKings.

The Dolphins sit ahead of the Cardinals in most props across the league, and may only be favored in one game this season (home against the Jets) unless they can exceed expectations.

Although the Dolphins’ win total makes them double the record for five wins, the team has not reached five wins in any season since going 1-15 in 2007, Cam Cameron’s only season as head coach. The Dolphins also have only one other season with four wins or less since the merger, going 4-12 in 2004. For the Under to cash in on Miami’s 2026 win total, this would have to be one of the worst teams in Dolphins history.

Miami Dolphins 2025 season update
| 7-10 | 6.52 | 5.39 (14) | 5.80 (26) | -13.4 (24) |
Hafley has a tall task ahead of him in making the Dolphins’ defense competitive after he finished 27th in passing yards per game and 28th in rushing yards per game last season. With the offense finishing fourth in yards per rush, it makes sense that Achane is one of the keys to the unit, but if the defense can’t keep games competitive going forward, a quality rushing attack likely won’t be enough to pile up wins.

Bobby Slowik survived the coaching transition during the offseason, moving from playmaker to running the offense. He will be tasked with building new quarterback Malik Willis, who joined the Dolphins on a three-year, $67.5 million contract. But it’s anyone’s guess who will emerge as their frontrunner in this offense as last year’s top three players are out and replaced by veterans Tutu Atwell, Jalen Tolbert, Jalen Reagor and Terrace Marshall, all of whom have been consistent pieces in their careers, along with three rookies drafted in Round 3 or later.
On defense, the interior of the line is essentially all that remains intact, with multiple free agents vying for spots on the depth chart at edge rusher alongside Chop Robinson. Jordyn Brooks and Tyrel Dodson remain at quarterback but could face challenges from rookies Jacob Rodriguez and Kyle Louis. First round pick Chris Johnson stands out as the biggest addition to the secondary.

The Dolphins are one of the few teams this year not playing in other countries on any day other than Sunday. One of their easiest opponents on paper unfortunately comes in Week 1 when they travel to Vegas to face the Raiders, both teams looking to find early success after changing coaches and quarterbacks in the offseason. Besides, the Dolphins’ two easy games are both against the Jets, and the NFL didn’t do them any favors by packing in trips to Buffalo, Denver, Green Bay and New England in the back half of the season.

The pick of the future for the Miami Dolphins
Not much has to go right to win five, which the Dolphins have done in all but two seasons since joining. But it’s hard to see the passing game having much success with the lack of weapons, which should make things easier for opposing defenses in the system.
A schedule that includes playing every team in the AFC West and NFC North doesn’t make things easy, and when you throw in a third-place game against the Bengals and 49ers, there aren’t many opportunities to face teams of the same caliber, especially at home where the Dolphins have historically had a tricky advantage. Even a sweep of the Jets would leave Miami with just four wins.
