Georgia football special teams preview

The Georgia Bulldogs put their talent on full display during the spring, and Georgia will enter the 2026 campaign with one of the most promising rosters in all of college football.

Georgia has a lot of talent on their special teams unit, which is an overlooked part of the team. Veteran kicker Peyton Woodring will return to Athens for his fourth season as a Bulldog, while punter Drew Miller will begin his third season at Georgia in August. Miller replaces All-American Brett Thorson. The Dawgs’ special teams unit should have no problem establishing themselves as the top unit in the SEC again this year.

Taylor is expected to enter his second season in Athens as the Dawgs’ starting quarterback. The redshirt freshman has great playmaking potential considering his size and speed.
