White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller argued Tuesday that the Democratic Party has changed as candidates continue to win primaries across the country.

“[We have to] explain to the American people that the Democrats that you grew up with, the Democrats that your mom and dad grew up with, the Democrats that your grandparents grew up with are gone, not at any level of government,” Miller said.

“The vote of any Democrat, anywhere, in any office, gives power to a party that wants to strip this country to the bone, take away our security, our defense, our way of life.”

Miller’s warning came during an appearance on “Hannity,” where he discussed Tuesday night’s victory in New York for Zohran Mamdani-backed candidates Darializa Avila Chevalier, Claire Valdez and Brad Lander.

Left-wing progressivism and Democratic socialism are spreading beyond New York State, however. In Maine, incumbent Graham Platner scored a primary victory earlier this month and will face incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins in the November general election.

In other races, Democratic Socialist Nithya Raman will face incumbent Democrat Karen Bass in the Los Angeles mayoral race. James Talarico of Texas, another progressive, will face Republican Ken Paxton in the Senate primary race in November, while Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed will challenge two other Democrats first for the nomination.

The winner of the Michigan Democratic primary will face Republican candidate Mike Rogers in the general election.

“Tonight brings a horrifying testimony to how … this cancer has spread and has spread throughout the Democratic Party,” Miller said.

“We’ve seen in every single race where there’s an open Democrat base, the left-wing base of the Democratic Party is choosing the most socialist, the most communist, the most crazy election, the most election possible. with it.”

Miller went on to insist that President Donald Trump is the only thing standing in the way of the “brutal wave of left-wing insanity.”
