Carrie Underwood is proud to be an American.
The 43-year-old country singer recently took to Instagram to share a video of herself driving past a giant fence decorated with American flags the length of the property.
“I can’t believe I’m going to be here. Thank you, Lord. #GodBlessAmerica #Grateful #TN,” she captioned the photo.
Fans in the comments section were inspired by the display of patriotism, with one saying a similar display they saw at Eric Trump’s Trump Winery in Virginia “actually brought tears to my eyes. I love the country.”

Underwood showed her patriotism in January 2025, when she performed “America the Beautiful” in the US Capitol Rotunda during the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
He avoided an awkward moment when the music ended before his performance, which led him to tell the crowd, “You know the words, help me here,” and sing a cappella.

“I love our country and I feel honored to be asked to sing at the inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood said in a statement. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in a spirit of unity and look to the future.”
The announcement was met with mixed opinions, with some, like “The View’s” Joy Behar, criticizing his decision, others defending it.
During an interview with Fox News Digital at the time, Lee Greenwood defended her, saying, “She’s going to do a great job singing at the Capitol with ‘America the Beautiful.’
“I will sing before the President is sworn in,” he added. “He’s going to sing after that. And for a second it’s going to be magic. To those people who have something wrong to say, I say keep it to yourself. Don’t attack my friend here for the same reason I’m going to do the 47th President of the United States.”
