World Cup match on Saturday, June 13
- in Switzerland -1.5 (-178)
- Morocco Double Chance (+115)
- Turkish vs. Australia Both Teams to Score (-106)
FanDuel parlay price: +552
Switzerland -1.5 vs. Qatar (-178)
The Swiss side are favored to win Group B, and are heavy favorites for Saturday’s game Qatar at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. Switzerland are expected to get off to a hot start in Group B, and Green reckons they will have no problem winning in style on Saturday, especially as they are unbeaten since November 2024. “They have a stronger squad than their group stage opponents, with the likes of Gregor Kobel, Granit Xhaka and Green Xhaka.” Conversely, the betting odds suggest Qatar will topple the group. Qatar lost all three of their group stage games in the last World Cup, which does not send the Swiss team well.”
Morocco Double Chance (+115)
Brazil they are among the favorites to win the World Cup, and start the competition in Group C against Morocco, who finished fourth in the 2022 World Cup. FanDuel oddsmakers have Brazil favored in the match, but Eimer backs the Moroccans here, placing half a share on Morocco Double Chance (Morocco win or draw), calling them “a team you don’t want to sleep on.”
“This team is full of European talents such as Brahim Diaz, Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui and more,” said Eimer. “They have world-class talent in all areas of the field, one of the best defenses from Africa. Beating Morocco will require physical and mental strength from any team in this tournament, and I expect Morocco to make a real push to top the group, as they battle for points with Brazil.”
Turkey-Australia Both Teams to Score (-106)
Turkey and Australia are in Group D, of course United States again Paraguay. The US is expected to win this group, while Turkey is also expected to exit the group stage. Australia, on the other hand, are the underdogs in Saturday’s game and have a long chance to win Group D. Eimer doesn’t think Australia are the push some believe they are, and while he thinks Turkey could win on Saturday, he thinks Australia will score, as they showed a “tough fight” in qualifying. “Actually, I think Turkiye will score early in this game, which forces Australia to play high games to fight back, resulting in more goals,” said Eimer. “Australia won’t go down without a fight, and we should have an exciting game on our hands.”
