President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he will hold a rally in Washington, DC, later this month to kick off the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Trump said in a Truth Social post that the event will include guest speakers and songs as part of what he described as “the rally to end all rallies.”
“Wednesday, June 24, at 7 PM, in magnificent Washington, DC, now absolutely beautiful, and one of the Safest Cities anywhere on Earth, and in celebration of our 250-year State History, we will be bringing you, LIVE, the Biggest Rally, EVER!” Trump wrote.
“It’s going to be special on every level – the Rally to end all shows!” Trump continued. “We don’t want talentless singers, but big money to put you to sleep, tell them all to stay at home. What we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you’ve been listening to for years!”
MEGA EVENT BACKED BY TRUMP TO BRING ALL 50 NATIONS TO DC WORLDWIDE FOR GREAT WAYS
Trump said the DC Freedom 250 event will feature guest speakers and songs as “the rally to end all rallies.”
The announcement comes days after Trump floated the idea of replacing the planned Freedom 250 concert with a MAGA rally after several performers pulled out of the event.
Trump previously suggested canceling the Freedom 250 concerts, which are part of the Great American State Fair, which is a 16-day festival scheduled to run from June 25 to July 10 on the National Mall as part of the nation’s America 250 celebrations.
The parade is organized by Freedom 250, a non-profit organization aligned with Trump and working with the White House Task Force 250.

Although the concerts have not been canceled, Freedom 250 previously announced that Trump will host the opening ceremony.
After the line-up was launched in May, several performers – including Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, Young MC, The Commodores and Morris Day – announced they would no longer be participating.
Other artists, including Vanilla Ice, have gone public and confirmed their plans to perform.

In an interview with Fox News Digital this week, Vanilla Ice said that he is still 100% committed to the event and that the criticism directed at the participating players strengthened his determination to participate.
Trump also announced that country singer Lee Greenwood will introduce him at the rally and sing his hit song, God Bless the USA.
Opera singer Christopher Macchio is expected to sing many songs including Nessun Dorma, Hallelujah, Ave Maria and God Bless America, Trump said.
The president added that many soldiers will also sing.
