Here is every car awarded to the winners of the Charles Schwab Challenge

In addition to a healthy salary, the Charles Schwab Challenge offers something very eye-catching: a custom-designed car parked in plain sight for a week at the Colonial Country Club.
Located just off the 10th tee, it becomes an irresistible temptation – passing players after the turn can’t help but steal a glance, a glowing reminder of what awaits the winner of the week.

The tradition started in 2019 and here is a look at all the cars that were given:

The car was accompanied by the iconic Leonard Trophy and a Scottish tartan plaid jacket. The Challenger Award was also a first for the tournament and was designed to celebrate the anniversary of Schwab’s founding, the challenge of the Colonial course and the challenging spirit of the event and its players.

In 2021, tournament organizers offered a customized 1946 Schwab Power Wagon. It was a custom build by Legacy Classic Trucks and featured some of its most striking features, such as the Schwab-branded exterior and Colonial-inspired interior. The Power Wagon is a complete “resto-mod,” meaning it looks like an old truck and drives like a new one. A car from 1946 was chosen to commemorate the 75th year of the competition.

The souped-up Chevy-powered Defender came complete with LL Bean fly rods and custom mounts. Ben Griffin chipped in after sinking a nervy 4-foot putt on the final hole to close at 1-over 71, and claimed the title by one stroke over Matti Schmid.
2026 (TBD): 1982 Schwab Jeep Scrambler
The winner of the prestigious Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, will take home a prestigious car – a hand-built 1982 Schwab Scrambler.
The 1982 Scrambler marks a milestone for investors as it was the year Schwab introduced a 24/7 orders and quote service to the industry and gave Schwab clients round-the-clock access to the markets. To commemorate this, the champion of the Charles Schwab Challenge tournament will be awarded a hand-built 1982 Schwab Scrambler.
