Kacey Musgraves hits back at ‘fat activist’ who is angry she can’t fit in her new Walmart clothing line

I know there is a lot going on in the world today. Most of it is very bad. I get it. Trust me, I get it.

But, the stories never end. The cycle never ends. The war never ends. And, even though we are all sad today, it is my job to report this news. So, here we go.

Country star Kacey Musgraves is currently chatting with a fat internet activist who’s mad at her because Walmart doesn’t sell any of her new clothes in plus sizes.

And no, don’t you dare go after me in calling this woman a “fat internet activist.” That’s what he calls himself.

Let’s move on to checking out Megan Ixim, the self-proclaimed “fat activist” @msgiggggles on Instagram and is currently STALLED because she can’t squeeze into Kacey Musgraves’ new shorts.

Kacey Musgraves can’t win here

“Guess who’s out again? Okay, fat people. But don’t worry, they do sell extended sizes. But online. But from more reviews, very limited options, not the entire line. And it seems like the only true extended sizes are swimwear instead of everything else on sale.”

Fat people get the short end of the stick too! A story as old as time. A culture unlike any other, as Jim Nantz would say.

I can relate to this, because I was once a fat kid. I used to bend Hungry Mans (Men?) back in the day. Remember those? The best.

Still, I was fat – “husky” was the word we used in the ’90s – and trying to find clothes that fit was always difficult. Now, I just decided to put on a little weight on my own so I can easily fit into any pair of cargo shorts my heart desires, but to each their own.

Kacey Musgraves, to her credit, responded to Ixim on social media, saying: “Hello, I have absolutely no control. I’m sorry you’re disappointed. I hope this helps.”

Nice of Musgraves to at least respond, right? It’s wrong! That only infuriated @msgiggles, who apparently refuses to back down until the increased sizes are available at every Walmart nationwide.

“I’m the woman Kacey Musgraves told this week that she’s going to walk herself … At first, it was great to get a response until I realized how demeaning this response is to me, our great community, and her fans,” she said in a follow-up video to her 135K inexplicable followers.

Lord. You can’t win because of losing! They are always upset about something. And with seeI think I mean fat influencers on social media. @msgiggles calls herself a “Queer Latina” in her Instagram bio, adding that she’s “fat and thriving.”

They always want a fight because they can’t fit into the pants. It’s sad. Personally, I just try to mix a salad every once in a while instead of biting Kacey Musgraves, but, again, to each other.

Anyway, go check out Kacey’s new single — “Dry Spell” — which is a real treat.
