Disgusting trolls attack Hulk Hogan’s daughter for starting emotional post about dad with bikini photo

Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, hit the beach this week to remember her father as we approach the one year anniversary of his death.
That’s right. One year. Wild. It doesn’t sound like much, but we’re almost there. It’s sad.
Hogan died on July 24 at the age of 71 after suffering a heart attack at his home in Florida. He previously had leukemia and atrial fibrillation, as well as an irregular heart rhythm, but his death was ruled natural.
Brooke Hogan, star of HGTV’s “Rock the Block,” was estranged from her father at the time of his death. He told Fox News Digital last month that he still regrets not being there the day he died, feeling like he could have done something.

This week, Hogan visited the beach to remember his late father, writing a long post about spending time near “the beach he loved so much.”

Internet trolls are attacking Brooke and I won’t stand for it
“I needed time for my thoughts, my father and the sea he loved so much. Every wave hits my heart like a memory that feels like it was yesterday,” he said in the post. “The waves carried the bass in his voice, the salt water felt like his kiss. The smell of the sea smelled like many days in the boat that we spent together.
“I remember him pushing me across the surf like King Triton holding his Little Mermaid… if I could breathe underwater, I could live forever under the sea if it meant being so close to him. The tears were endless today.”
It’s obviously an emotional moment for Brooke Hogan, who shows that in her own way. I have never lost a parent, but I think the grief is suffocating. I’ll have to deal with it one day, and I’m not looking forward to it.

Naturally, the comments section of the post above is all over the map. Some people took time to point out that Hogan had included a picture of her bikini in the post. That’s probably a fair question to ask, but I certainly wouldn’t be one to do it.
“Don’t understand why you feel the need to show your ASS on the first slide of the last post about your dad. It actually says a lot about you,” one commenter wrote.
“Respect to hogan though first pic is -,” said another.
“You post about your dad and the first thing you show us is your–? Okay,” wrote a third.
“I love how this post is about his dad and the first thing he keeps showing us is his arse,” added a fourth.
Was it a weird picture to start a post with? Maybe. I will not dance to that. But, again, I don’t pretend to know how the grieving process works. I will leave this question to the people most qualified to answer it.

In fact, I say let Brooke Hogan post what she wants to post, and say what she wants to say. It is not my job to criticize it. Lord knows I don’t have, and don’t need, a foundation to stand on.

The good news? Most of the comments – and there are almost 1,000 of them – are positive.
Hulk Hogan had many fans. In fact, that is an understatement. He was one of the most famous people in my life.
People use the term “larger than life” a lot less these days, but that applies to the Hulk. His death was a surprise last summer. It’s all people can talk about for weeks.
Still, Brooke spent some time on the sand thinking about that moment. I hope you have found the peace you need.
