2026 NBA playoff bracket: Schedule, matchups as second round gets underway

Then it will be eight in the 2026 NBA Playoffs. The second round of the postseason bracket continued on Friday when the Knicks extended their series lead over the 76ers to 3-0 with a 108-94 road win in Game 3. New York was missing OG Anunoby and Joel Embiid back to Philadelphia, but it didn’t matter as the Knicks answered every 76ers run and pulled away in the fourth.

Later Friday night, the Spurs and Timberwolves — the only first-round series tied 1-1 after two games — will face off in Game 3 in Minneapolis.

On Thursday, Cade Cunningham and the Pistons defeated the Cavaliers to take a 2-0 lead in the series. The Thunder, on the other hand, remain in the playoffs with another win over the Lakers.
