HOW IS SHILLONG LOTTERY PLAYED?
- The Teer game is divided into two two-minute rounds.
- Skilled archers shoot 30 arrows in the first round and 20 in the second.
- Participants can bet on how many arrows will hit the target.
- They have to choose a number between 0 and 99.
- Correct predictions in any round result in winning.
- Lottery tickets are sold at licensed outlets from Rs 1 to Rs 50.
The Shillong Teer lottery prize is based on the total amount bet and the accuracy of the participant’s predictions. For example, a bet of Rs 1 correctly predicting the result of the first round would bring a payout of Rs 80. Similarly, a successful prediction in the second round results in a return of Rs 60 for the same bet of Rs 1. If a participant places a bet of Rs 1 in both rounds and predicts the results correctly, he can win up to Rs 4,000.
