Felix Okpara was selected by Orlando in the NBA draft

The NBA draft continued Wednesday with the second round at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The draft consists of two rounds and 60 picks.

Felix Okpara was selected by Orlando in the second round (No. 46 overall).

He played for the Vols for two seasons, appearing in 73 games (72 starts). Okpara started all 38 games for Tennessee in the 2024-25 season, setting a single-season record.

He was one of four Tennessee players in program history to record two 50-block seasons, joining Grant Williams, Kyle Alexander and CJ Black.

Forward Nate Ament was the Vols’ first NBA draft pick in 2026. He was drafted by Miami in the first round with the No. 1 overall pick. 13. Ament was traded to Milwaukee after being drafted.

Guard Ja’Kobi Gillespie was also selected in the second round by the Spurs (No. 42 overall).

Tennessee has produced 60 NBA draft picks all time in program history. Gillespie is also the 13th former Vol to be selected on the NBA draft playing for head coach Rick Barnes.
