Brazil proposes a plan vs Scotland: Will Neymar play for the first time in the 2026 World Cup?

Brazil will fight to win Group C when they face Scotland on Wednesday, June 24 in Miami.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side go into the match with four points against Morocco after both teams collected a win and a draw in their opening two games.

If Brazil and Morocco end up fighting each other, goals will be lost because the teams are tied in their own game. Currently, Brazil has a two-goal advantage but that could change quickly as Morocco play Haiti.

So Ancelotti is left with a dilemma with his plan: do everything possible to win, or rest the rest of the players knowing that Brazil has at least booked a place in the next round.

Here’s how we see Ancelotti against Scotland:

Midfielders: Fabinho, Bruno Guimarães, Lucas Paquetá, Vinícius Júnior

Fabinho could replace Casemiro, who is also at risk of suspension. Otherwise, Guimarães, Paquetá and Vinícius remain on the list.

Strikers: Rayan, Matheus Cunha

Cunha should get the nod again after his double against Haiti, with Rayan deputizing for the injured Raphinha. Ancelotti said Neymar is “available” for the match, so the Brazilian legend may come off the bench.
