The Louisville Kings will play in the United Football League championship game, the United Bowl, on Saturday, June 13, against the DC Defenders.
The Kings went 6-4 in their first UFL season, then defeated St. Louis Battlehawks in the semifinals to reach the title game.

Here are the Louisville players you know ahead of the United Bowl.
Chandler Rogers, quarterback
Chandler Rogers has played in 10 of 11 games for the Kings this season. The 6-foot quarterback completed 62.3% of his passes.
Rogers threw for 1,281 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. He also rushed for two touchdowns.
The quarterback pitched at five different colleges from 2019-2024, finishing his career at Cal as the backup to future Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza. He was released in 2025.
Roger’s most notable season in college football came in 2023 at North Texas, when he threw for 3,382 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Ian Wheeler, running back

Ian Wheeler has played 10 games this season. The 5-foot-10 running back ran for 459 yards and seven touchdowns.
Wheeler played college football for Howard University, where he was an All-MEAC Second-Team selection. He was not drafted in 2024 but signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent.
Wheeler had a strong start to his rookie campaign before tearing his ACL. He was released by the Bears and later signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad before being released shortly thereafter.
Isaiah Winstead, wide receiver

Isaiah Winstead has played in nine games for the Kings this season. The 6-foot-3 wide receiver recorded 540 receiving yards and caught four touchdowns, leading the team in both categories.

Before playing for Louisville, Winstead spent the last two seasons in the UFL with the Dallas Renegades, where he had 482 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Winstead played for three different colleges from 2017-22. He finished his career at East Carolina before going undrafted in 2023. The wide receiver spent time on the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad and was brought into training camp with the New York Jets.
Cam Gill, on the edge
Cam Gill has played in all 11 games with Louisville this season. The edge rusher was named an All-UFL selection after recording 10 sacks, 39 tackles and one forced fumble during the regular season. Gill also recorded six tackles and one sack in the win for the Kings.

Gill played for Wagner University from 2016-19. He went undrafted in 2020, then signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and made the team’s roster in training camp.
He spent three years in Tampa Bay before signing the first of two with the Carolina Panthers. Gill also spent brief stints with the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions before making his UFL debut with the Kings.
Corey Mayfield Jr., defensive back
Corey Mayfield Jr. has played in 10 games for the Kings this season and earned an All-UFL selection. The linebacker made 27 total tackles, four interceptions, seven pass breakups and one forced fumble.

Before joining the Louisville team, Mayfield Jr. he played two seasons for the San Antonio Brahmas, tallying 50 tackles and one interception.
The 5-foot-10 defensive back played college football at UTSA from 2018-22. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent before being released and joining the UFL.
Tanner Brown, kicker

Tanner Brown was named an All-UFL selection after an accurate kicking season for the Kings.
Brown was 25 of 28 in the regular season, with two of his misses from 50-59 yards. He made both attempts in the win over the Kings, including a 63-yarder.

Brown finished his collegiate career at Oklahoma State in 2023 before spending time in camps with the Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons. After being waived by the Falcons, he joined the Kings in his first UFL season.
James Robinson, running back

James Robinson has played seven games for the Kings this season. The 5-foot-9 running back rushed for 351 yards and four touchdowns.
Before joining the Kings, Robinson played collegiately at Illinois State from 2016-19. He was not drafted in 2020 but signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent. Robinson then rushed for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie.

His NFL career was interrupted by a torn Achilles suffered late in the 2021 season. After his injury, Robinson spent time with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints before coming to Louisville.
Lucky Jackson, wide receiver

Lucky Jackson has appeared in all 11 games for the Kings this season, recording 430 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot-6 former Western Kentucky Hilltopper wide receiver was second on the team in receiving yards.
A native of Lexington, Kentucky, he spent all four seasons playing college football at WKU.
Jackson went undrafted in 2020, then spent time in the Canadian Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Edmonton Elks. The wideout made his UFL debut with the DC Defenders in 2023 before spending time on the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad.

Tyler Hudson, wide receiver

Tyler Hudson appeared in nine games with the Kings this season, but only recorded 49 receiving yards.
The 6-foot-2 wide receiver played college football for the Louisville Cardinals. Hudson led the team in receiving yards in 2022 with 1,034 yards and two touchdowns.
Hudson went undrafted in 2023 but spent time with the Los Angeles Rams.
