Rozicki and Billam-Smith both came in at the required 200lb cruiserweight rating.

Rozicki accused Billam-Smith of “magic on the scales”, saying he weighed 201lbs and then went down to the required 200 and that he looked “ugly” and must have had trouble cutting.

He then added that he and his team may look to oppose these incidents. However, the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) later officially ruled that the weight was correct and therefore the protest would not take place.

Billam-Smith defended his WBO cruiserweight world title against Richard Riakporhe with a unanimous decision victory at Selhurst Park.

Billam-Smith holds a record of 21 wins, 13 starts, and two losses. He avenged his first loss to Richard Riakporhe with a points victory in 2024, and his second loss came in a world title unification fight against Gilberto Ramirez of Mexico later that year.
