‘The Last of Us’ Season 2 trailer is here to bring you to tears

I have good news and bad news about them The Last of Us Season 2 theater.

BREAKFUT:

Watch Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey tease ‘The Last of Us’ hilarious blooper

The good news? It looks like Joel (Pedro Pascal) is going to be treated, with none other than Catherine O’Hara playing his therapist. Bad news? Viewers may have to tune in to his next session, because this teaser promises a the world of pain, from the Clickers charging the city of Jackson to a tense look between Joel and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) that suggests the two may not be as close as they once were.

The quick teaser also gives us our first glimpse of new characters, including ex-Firefly Abby (Kaitlyn Dever, Booksmart), Ellie’s girlfriend Dina (Isabela Merced, Alien: Romulus), Washington Liberation Front leader Isaac (Jeffrey Wright, American Mythology), and Jackson resident Jesse (younger Mazino, Beef). But the rants focus more on Joel, who is still thinking about the difficult decision he made at the end of Season 1, and how it might affect his relationship with Ellie. Let me just say that I have already put on some muscle to prepare for this season.

The Last of Us Season 2 starts in 2025.
