Danica McKellar wows the internet with a MAHA-inspired workout, a hitter takes on a brutal badass tip and summer MEAT

The sun is out on this beautiful Tuesday morning, the Screencaps are ready to go and one of TV’s greats, Danica McKellar, or Winnie Cooper to those of us who grew up with her, stops by to show us how, at 51, she stays in good shape.

That’s right, Winnie Cooper is 51 years old.

It’s been 33 years since “The Wonder Years” ended its run on ABC. What makes this woman great is that she gained prominence in this singles game and she never ran away from it. He then turned himself into a Christmas movie legend, made solid money doing that job, wrote children’s books and continues to depend on “The Wonder Years” content. He didn’t run away from it.

You know, the more I think about it, McKellar deserves the Medal of Freedom or some kind of award that he gives out at the White House. Trump, if you are reading this, please respect this woman for her work in this country. At least you got him a MAHA role.

ESPN was recommended by a Screencaps reader

– Alex in NC Emails: Thank you ESPN for doing the right thing and letting the video play and the announcers stay silent while the players and fans sing country road in the background West Virginia out of 10 against UK. It’s an amazing game and finish and you can just see how amazing the atmosphere was. You don’t get that from the pros, college baseball is special if you’ve never been there before and have a regional tryout nearby and go you won’t be disappointed. Morgantown is going to be crazy next weekend. Cal Poly has no idea where they are heading into Friday night’s game in the mountains.

Kinsey: My high school classmate’s son was in that video singing “Country Roads.” Matthew Graveline wears number 0. He went from playing center at Ohio State to starting left tackle for West Virginia. Like his father, he has a cannon. Look for Graveline in the best places.

Congratulations to those who have tickets for this wonderful region. June baseball in Morgantown will be special. Just imagine how many shots of Jell-O West Virginia fans will consume if they make it to Omaha.

How can you deal with this with your left player?

That was a tough Monday if you’re an Alabama softball fan. You go from 2-0, to this, then lose on the road and finally get shut out in the second game against Texas Tech.

Football update: I’m in a situation where I need to think about my #mentalhealth for the season

Guys, I’m at the point in the season where I need to host a mid-season home run derby for my 14U team (there are only three 14’s on the team). They are 1-6, have lost six straight, and morale is about as low as it can get. We need something to break the ice, so my plan is to find a platform and make it a MrBeast Games event.

I have to put targets in the right field for Gatorade cases or something like that. My plan is to take $100 to Costco, Target or somewhere else and get Screencaps Jr. find out what these kids can compete with and consider it a $100 investment in my mental health.

OLIVIA DUNNE AND MILLER LITE BRING THE FUN WHILE THE BUD LIGHT GOES ON, NANCY MACE SHOT A GUN AND A MEAT.

Any suggestions on what this home run derby should look like? Yes, I can make it a home game if you can’t get to the field on a fly on a high school diamond. Guys, I need energy to be high. Tell me how to spice it up even more.

Will I get bull’s-eye targets? Maybe you bought them on Amazon? The budget may have to go up to $200, but that’s okay.

Destination weddings: Have they gone too far?

– Rick in Georgia writes: Hi Joe…..I was hoping you could help me get a temperature reading from the SC community on a topic that is puzzling me: local weddings. Recently, I, my former hockey buddies and my current golf buddies have been pondering this topic as we receive invitations to our nieces, nephews & neighbors’ children’s weddings. We live in GA, so in addition to the usual 30A weddings to Florida beaches, recent invitations include the Bahamas, Hawaii and Scotland. A hockey friend of mine said that his nephew chose Scotland because he had a dream (!!) about getting married in a Scottish castle and so, he decided to “rent a castle” in Scotland for their wedding. A friend of mine blew up the wedding, causing a fire in his family tree. He told me: “I’m not going to fly 8 hours to Scotland, then spend 2 hours by boat just to get to this castle for the wedding. Time.”

His decision sparked many discussions in our circles. The main topic seems to be the “kids these days” type of production. For someone who loves culture like me, I love the idea of getting everyone you love and everyone who loves you to your wedding. It’s a special day. The family. Friends. The little ones. A long time ago. Food. Drinks. Music. Apex-level memories are created for that special day. All under one roof, celebrating the start of a new journey. It seems less likely to choose a place where both parties – the bride and groom and their families and friends – all have to travel across the world for the ceremony. You limit the number of people who can take the trip due to various factors…time, money, etc. The sample size of my hockey and golf buddies may be small/skewed, so again, I’m hoping to get a solid learning from the large, reliable sample size sponsored by the SC Community. Thanks in advance for any insights and ideas that may come up on this and, as always, keep up the good work. Always appreciated.

Kinsey: The way I see it, the couple can choose wherever they want to have their wedding and the guest can just say no. The family’s outrage that someone won’t spend $10k or whatever it costs to go to a wedding in Scotland is a moan. It’s difficult.

I get your take on the traditional side of things, but, you have to remember that weddings are now considered content that helps promote women within their social circles. It is social life resume material. OMG, you got married in Scotland? That must have been magic, Sydney.

Trust me, Sydney won’t mind if her uncle is gone. Guys, just say you have a travel football tournament that you can’t miss. Problem solved.

What food combinations don’t make sense?

– Nick asks: What food combinations do you not understand why people love them? For example, I would never put Wendy’s fries in a Frosty, and I have no inclination to try.

Millennials help Millennials

– Millennial Brandon north in Kentucky Millennial Chris B. shares tips from Bowling Green: I responded to your question about Millennial Chris B and his bald spot in his backyard wiffle ball, on FaceBook but I feel this issue needs to be moved off the main OutKick page. Two reasons 1) Not everyone does social media and I believe this one will get serious traction 2) There are tons of older guys who got into this issue when their kids grow up and they will have a lot of things in common.

Growing up we had a ball field that we could walk on but when we only got about 12 players to play we used my neighbors side yard as home plate and our front yard was the rest of the infield. We had to use tennis balls because of how close some of the neighbors lived, and since my dad was one of the head coaches at Knothole we didn’t always have access to real bats and bases.

We played all day almost every day and those bald spots appeared quickly, much to my mothers dismay. My dad, raising four boys and being a coach, loved it. My mother complained often enough that we remember her saying “Why can’t they just play in the park?”. My father used to say “The grass will grow, these young men will grow up and leave before we know it”.

Fast forward 30 years and here we are. As a millennial, Chris B please let the kids play, catch a cold one and give them a full time pitcher, they’ll love you even more for that. Keep it up. God Bless America and Keep Making Rec Ball Great Again.

This is supposed to be cooperative farming, right?

There’s no way you can complain about that much privacy, right?
