Charlamagne rips Jill Biden, Democrats for covering up Biden’s mental decline

Broadcaster Charlamagne tha God called out the former First Lady, the Bidens’ inner circle, and the entire Democratic Party, saying they are harming democracy itself by hiding concerns about former President Biden’s mental decline.
One of the most defining moments of the 2024 election was Biden’s disastrous debate with candidate Donald Trump. Biden stuttered, had a long period of silence and tense, confused face, to the point that some of his most vocal supporters broke ranks and demanded that he drop the nomination. The Atlantic has obtained a copy of the First Lady’s memoir, “View From the East Wing,” which will be released in early June. In it, he revealed that he and Biden both agreed that he was “over it” that night.
“In fact, the ass of the day should go to Jill Biden, the Democratic Party, Biden’s inner circle, the staff, the record label, the team of hardworking mothers, and everyone who spent years telling the American people not to believe their eyes,” Charlamagne said on Thursday.

Charlamagne directly responded to the Jill Biden clip in an interview with CBS Sunday Mornings that premiered Wednesday, where he said, “I don’t know what happened,” and that “I mean, when I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, she’s having a stroke,’ and it scared me to death.”
One of the contradictions between how Jill Biden now says she felt that night and the public face she presented afterwards is how she praised Biden for his performance at the post-debate event.
“Not right now,” Charlamagne said wearily, noting many of the concerns he, his staff, and the American people at large, are arguing about these revelations, “There’s a lot going on right now to confirm what many of us have known and said, but we’re being crucified for it.”

Charlamagne went on to clarify that this is ultimately not about aging or life threatening, but rather, “This is about honesty, and Jill Biden and the Democrats have been dishonest, and that’s one of the main reasons we’re in the situation we’re in right now.”
He said this is one of the many areas where Biden has failed to make the most of his time to protect American democracy, such as ending the filibuster, expanding the Supreme Court, passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and passing the Voting Freedom Act. “Those were the things that had to be done to protect democracy,” he said.
“Add the lies sold to the American people by President Biden to this list, will you?” he said.
“That’s why Americans have problems trusting politicians. Okay? You’re telling us that we don’t hear what we hear and we don’t see what we see,” he said. “Once again, this didn’t mean Biden was old, okay? It wasn’t about this debate. It was a matter of trust. Okay? You dismissed voters’ concerns about Biden’s age and health for years instead of talking to them honestly.”

He added that “Poll after vote showed voters worried about his health and mental acuity long before the debate, and y’all told us he was ‘jet-lagged.’ “He had a fever,” she said. “You all treat true, honest criticism like dishonesty. No, it was true.”
“We don’t want to hear what you have to say about this matter Jill,” he concluded. “The moral of the story is what makes people lose hope in the institutions. Right? Not because the leaders are getting old. That’s life. People lose faith when the parties act as if admitting the truth is somehow a betrayal. Right? When the voters feel that they are being bombarded, they are being lied to, they stop trusting not only the politicians, but they stop trusting the whole system.”
Fox News Digital reached out to former President Biden for comment but did not immediately respond.
