Professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau revealed during a podcast Monday that he wants four children and elaborated on his views on family roles.
“Plenty. I’d love to have a bunch of kids. Four, for sure,” she told podcast host Katie Miller during an interview on the “Kate Miller Podcast.”
Miller then pressed DeChambeau on his views on family roles.
He asked, “Do you believe that a man’s place is at work and a woman’s place is at home? What are your core beliefs about how a family should function these days? Or do you think it depends on the partners?”

DeChambeau said it depends on the situation.
“I think it depends on the situation, doesn’t it? Financially … if a man can support a full family, like, there are times when you will have to make difficult decisions where a woman will go out, but culturally I would like to see, I would like to see women as, I would say, that, participate and be as opportunistic as possible. If they want to go to work, if they want to go to work, “if they want to go to work, if they want to go to work.
He added, “I would also say, if you have a family, make sure you prioritize, okay, and make sure you get a chance to take care of your children and do what’s right for your children, and a man should do the same thing. A man needs to have time with his family, right?”

His contract with LIV expires after this season, and when asked about returning to the PGA Tour, DeChambeau was noncommittal. If anything, he dismissed the punishments he might face. He also said that he would be happy to devote himself fully to YouTube golf in order to grow his channel.

DeChambeau told reporters earlier this month before the LIV Golf event at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia that he would like to focus more on YouTube if LIV closes after a year.
“I think, in my opinion, I’d like to grow my YouTube channel three times, maybe more,” DeChambeau said. “I would like to. I would like to make a bunch of recordings in different languages, giving the world more reason to watch YouTube. Then I would like to play in the tournaments that I want.”
