Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano: How to watch 2 weigh-ins, official and ceremonial

Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano will face their final hurdles before their big fight on Netflix on Friday, May 15, where this weekend’s main card is weighted.
When both Rousey, 39, and Carano, 44, step on the scale, it will have been 26 years since either legend last weighed in an MMA fight.

There are two separate weigh-ins scheduled for Friday: an official weigh-in in the morning and a ceremonial weigh-in in the evening. This post will help explain what you can expect from the scenes in Los Angeles.
How will formal rating work?
The official weigh-in begins at 12 pm ET and lasts about two hours. Meanwhile, all 22 fighters on Saturday’s Rousey vs. Carano is expected to weigh in.
The headliners of this event, Rousey and Carano, are expected to reach the non-title limit in their featherweight fight, this time at 146 pounds. If any fighter comes in above that weight, they will be given an extra hour to lose the extra weight and be weighed again. Failure to meet the 146-pound mark will also result in fines and possible additional penalties, depending on the circumstances and severity of the weight miss.

After a fighter hits his mark at the official weigh-in in the morning, he is allowed to rehydrate and regain as much weight as possible until fight night.
How will festival grading work?
The festival weigh-ins begin at 9 pm ET and are valid in name only.
With fighters already at their weight targets, the ceremonial weigh-ins are often a platform for their opponents to share a final face-off and set the stage for fight night in front of a potentially packed crowd at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome Outdoor Plaza.
Rousey, Carano and others on the card may also make their final pre-fight remarks here.

How can you watch the weight?
The uncrowned will receive live coverage of the official weigh-ins beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET, including weigh-ins for every fight and video clips of Rousey, Carano and other MMA main-card stars hitting the scales, such as Nate Diaz, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and Mike Perry.
The uncrowned winners will then live stream the site’s weigh-in video at 9 pm ET.
This post will be updated with links to both ratings as Friday’s action begins.
