2026 Truist Championship prize money, purse, Kristoffer Reitan payments, field

The sixth signature event of the 2026 PGA Tour season brought players back to Charlotte for the annual stop at Quail Hollow for the Truist Championship. A field of 72 players battled for their share of the $20 million prize money with Kristoffer Reitan taking home $3.6 million for his first PGA Tour victory.
While Scottie Scheffler was away from the field after three consecutive runner-up finishes, most of the PGA Tour’s top seed made the trip to North Carolina for the final tune-up before the PGA Championship. The last two event winners — Cameron Young in the Cadillac Championship and Matt Fitzpatrick in the RBC Heritage — were looking to double up on such winners’ checks. Rory McIlroy was looking for a win at his favorite tour stop after a three-week layoff following his second Masters win.
In the end, though, it was Reitan — ineligible for early-season signing events — who came through with two consecutive birdies on Sunday’s back nine to win by two strokes over Rickie Fowler and Nicolai Hojgaard.
Here’s a complete breakdown of how much prize money each place will take home to Charlotte this week.
