In an unexpected situation during a Qantas airline flight from Sydney, Australia to Tokyo, Japan, an R-rated movie was played on all the screens of the plane, which showed sexual conversations and pornographic images.
According to a statement, the airline acknowledged the issue and said passengers on a Qantas flight from Sydney to Tokyo Haneda Airport experienced a technical problem with the in-flight entertainment system to select individual movies.
“Our team members had a limited list of movies that they were able to play on all the screens on the plane and based on the request of many passengers, a certain movie was chosen for every plane,” the airline said, according to CNN.
Qantas Airlines did not mention any movie in the statement but several photos posted on social media by users who claimed to have been on the flight suggested that it was the movie “Daddio”.

According to a Reddit user who said he was on a plane and posted pictures of the problem, he said they couldn’t pause the screen while the movie was playing.
“It took about an hour before they switched to a kid-friendly movie, but it was uncomfortable for everyone, especially families and kids on board,” the user added.
A spokesperson for Qantas said the film was inappropriate for the entire flight and apologized to customers for the experience.
