If you know anything about nature and the circle of life, you know that Amazon is announcing October Prime Day and that means other retailers like Best Buy are also holding their fall savings events.
Yes, Best Buy dropped its big fall savings schedule the same week that the Prime Big Deal Days schedule was confirmed (actually, Best Buy’s schedule arrived the day before). The Best Buy event, framed as a countdown to the holiday season, is technically divided into several sales events that began on Sept. 27 and continue until Oct. 25. Included in the agenda for peace is one of its 48- amazing flash sale, which is happening now, Oct. 8 and 9 – same start and end dates as Amazon Prime Day in October. As you begin to hover over the mere mention of the word “holiday” in mid-September, let’s break down Best Buy’s pre-Black Friday timeline. (We’ll be releasing events as they wrap up.)

Special Members Sale:From September 27 to 29, Best Buy Plus and My Best Total memberswe’ll get exclusive access to deals on big tech items like laptops and TVs — great, because we actually pick Best Buy’s selection (and reliability) of deals on premium laptopsand TVsof Amazon. (Like Prime, these there ispaid plans, but My Best Buy Plus is about $100 cheaper than Prime per year. I’m just saying.) -
Exit event: On October 11, Best Buy is slashing prices beyond normal — up to 50% off — on clearance items as well as open-box and refurbished items. Samsung and LG OLED and QLED TVs, Apple products, and Dyson hair tools are all in the mix.

Apple Trade-Up Event: On Oct. 20, you’ll be able to squeeze in more Apple Watch, MacBook, iPad, Mac, and unlocked iPhone trade-ins by unlocking savings on new Apple devices.

48-Hour Flash Sale: On October 8 and 9, the Best Buy Flash Sale will offer great deals on TVs, gaming devices, laptops, monitors, and more technology. Also, this is an unofficial Prime Big Deal Days contest, and we don’t see anything about a paid membership being required to participate in it.

Prepare for a Holiday Party: Starting October 21st, many pre-holiday deals will begin to appear.

Three Day Sports Event: Since Oct. 25, select Best Buy games will receive special auction treatment in honor of the release Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Expect deals on gaming software, consoles, controllers, and other accessories.
What not to buy during Amazon’s October Prime Day sale, from third-party scams to Ring cams
By the end of October, expect Best Buy to be in Black Friday mode. The retailer didn’t mention this in specific words, but the context clues tell it all: Last year, Best Buy’s Black Friday sales began with early access for paid members on Oct. 27, then opened to everyone on Oct. 30.
