YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy has alleged that his aide was harassed by the police

Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy acted without the police creating fear among the family members of his aide Raghava Reddy in the name of investigation.

He stated that the police went to where Mr. Raghava Reddy late on Friday (November 18, 2024) broke the furniture.

Speaking to journalists in Pulivendula, Mr. Avinash Reddy revealed that the police threatened YSRC leaders and human rights activists with illegal arrests.

“My PA Raghava Reddy is always in touch with the police, but the police visited his house without notice and insulted his family members,” he said.

Mr. Avinash Reddy demanded that the police produce YSRC leader Varra Ravindra Reddy, who was booked for allegedly posting objectionable material on social media, before the court. The Member of Parliament suspected that Mr. Ravindra Reddy was lodged in Kadapa DTC and was being harassed by senior police officers.

It was heard that the police in Pulivendula visited the home of Mr. The police said Mr. Raghava talked to Mr. Ravindra Reddy, and the police wanted to interrogate him to know his whereabouts.

On the other hand, Pulivendula TDP boss ‘B.Tech’ Ravi alleged that Mr. Ravindra Reddy faced a threat from YSRC leaders themselves. The YSRCP was trying to blame the ruling coalition and the police.

He urged the police to arrest Mr. Raghava Reddy and armed him with questions as he communicates with Mr. Ravindra Reddy.

“Raghava Reddy played a major role even in the case related to the murder of former Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy,” said Mr. Ravi.
