Aam Aadmi Party chief and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday that he will campaign for the BJP if Prime Minister Narendra Modi provides free electricity to NDA-ruled states.
Addressing the ‘Janta Ki Adalat’ in Delhi on Sunday, he said, “I challenge PM Modi to provide free electricity to all 22 states ruled by the BJP and its allies before the Delhi Assembly elections in February. If he does, I will BJP campaign.”
Kejriwal said the “double engine” BJP governments are failing in all states, and said they will lose the recently concluded elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, a news agency said. The PTI report.
He said the “double engine” model is double loot and double corruption.
Kejriwal also said that the BJP is “anti-poor”, and cited examples of the removal of bus conductors and informers and the freeze on the salaries of home guards in Delhi.
