As artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) become prevalent in the workplace, organizations need people skilled in advanced technologies. India is among the countries that are making the most demand for data analytics in their workforce. About 17.4 percent of job postings in the country look for data analytics skills in potential employees, according to the Cornerstone report. The skills management and development platform used its data to identify the skills employers are looking for. As of 2019, the share of AI and ML job postings worldwide has increased to more than 65 percent. India leads the way: 4.1 percent of job postings seek such skills. The demand for AI and ML skills is 2.5 percent in Germany and 2.2 percent in Japan.
