In preparation for the UP International Trade Show which will be held from September 25-29, the Noida Traffic Police has issued traffic advisories in the Greater Noida area. Traffic restrictions in Noida will be in place for five days, starting from September 24.
The trade show will be held at the India Expo Mart from September 25 to 29, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is expected to officially launch the event.
Commuters in the Noida region are advised to avoid any routes under road closures and restrictions. Alternative routes and detours will be established to ensure smooth traffic flow during the days of the event.
Road closures
1. Goods vehicles will not be allowed to use the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and nearby roads from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm.
2. Only vehicles carrying essential goods will be allowed to travel on these routes. No-entry signs will be displayed where required. This includes vehicles carrying essential items such as milk, fruit, vegetables, and medical supplies.
Other routes
Passengers can use the following alternative routes:
1. Vehicles coming out of Chilla border will be redirected to Chilla Red Light, where they can turn and reach NH-9, NH-24, NH-91, and Eastern Peripheral Expressway to reach their destinations.
2. Vehicles coming from the DND border will be diverted at the DND Toll Plaza, allowing them to turn around and proceed via NH-91 and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
3. Traffic from the Kalindi border will be diverted to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and NH-91.
4. Vehicles traveling from Jewar Toll on Yamuna Expressway towards Delhi will be diverted to Aligarh via a U-turn before the toll plaza.
5. Vehicles from Honda CL Chowk intending to go to Delhi via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be diverted to Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Sirsa Roundabout.
6. Vehicles coming from Surajpur Ghanta Chowk and Pari Chowk will also face diversions, with options to continue their journey at Tilpata and Sirsa Roundabouts towards the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
