Queen Camillason, Tom Parker Bowlesrevealed the sweet nickname his children have for their grandfather, King Charles III.

“Kids, they really don’t know any different. So ‘Uppa’, as they call the King, grew up with this man they love and think is amazing,” said the cookbook author, as reported Hello! Magazine.

“People ask them and they’re like, ‘What? It’s just Uppa!’,” he continued. “So yeah, I mean, it’s a healthy idea I guess, but you always have to say, ‘It’s the Lord. Take off your tracksuit pants!’

“She’s a really good grandmother so we go down to her house in Wiltshire and that’s where we can relax,” said Parker Bowles. She noted that her mother is also a “basic English cook” who doesn’t use measurements when cooking recipes at home, adding that she likes her fried chicken recipe.

In August, she shared that she was feeling “not too bad” during her cancer battle while visiting Southport, England.

Charles and Camilla will begin an “autumn tour” of Australia and Samoa from October 18 to October 26. After that, the King would appear at the upcoming COP29 climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan on November 11. However, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Wednesday, October 9, that Charles will no longer be there, although other details about his absence have not yet been revealed.
