The singer admitted in January 2022 that “he wanted [propose] 6 years,” while celebrating their wedding on Instagram. “That moment when you ask your best friend to be by your side forever,” De La Torre wrote. “The easiest decision I ever made was to ask this angel to be my wife.” She also worked with a Vietnamese jeweler to design a Condor engagement ring, as a token of her legacy. “Every detail of the ring has meaning and means a lot to both of us,” explained De La Torre.
