The Tennessee Titans placed veteran linebacker Chidobe Awuzie on injured reserve Friday with a groin injury.
Azizie was injured during last week’s 30-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Auzie will be out for at least four games. He may return for the first time on November 3 against the New England Patriots.
Azizie, 29, had four starts in three games this season. In all, he has 373 stops and six interceptions in 89 games (77 starts) with the Dallas Cowboys (2017-20), Cincinnati Bengals (2021-23) and Titans.
Tennessee signed linebacker Luke Gifford to its practice squad to fill a roster opening. Gifford now has two points in three games this season.
Gifford, 29, has 48 career tackles and one forced fumble in 60 games (one start) with the Cowboys (2019-22) and Titans.
