Disney/Fred HayesSecret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Taylor Frankie Paul again Dakota Mortensen cut off their relationship, Us Weekly can confirm.
During a special interview with Usmade before the latest social media speculation about their status, Taylor, 30, admitted the pair were going through a tough time after Dakota, 31, watched the show.
“I would say we’re working on things, and I really don’t know where we go from here,” Taylor said Us. “We are not fully united, but we are not fully done yet. I don’t know what the future holds for me and him.”
Emotional Taylor is confirmed to him Us that he is “sad,” adding, “It’s just too much.” I’m trying to deal with it.”
When Taylor told Us that he does not regret doing this program, Dakota was not happy with his acting.
“He has a nice soft side, and I feel like that wasn’t shown on the show,” he explained. “You’re like, ‘I look like this—— to you when you were pregnant, when it’s not just about how I treated you the whole time. Yes, I defended myself [some] cases, but I am not like you. I look like this bad person when I’m not.’
Taylor and Dakota met months after she announced her split from her ex-husband Dad after the scandal of a group of their Mormon friends.
Hulu Secret Lives of Mormon Wiveswhich began airing on September 6, captured Taylor and Dakota learning that they were expecting their first child together. She later had an ectopic pregnancy. In February 2023, Taylor was arrested for domestic violence after a drunken fight with Dakota, which was also caught on camera.
Taylor was charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence involving a child, aggravated battery with injury to a child and criminal mischief after the incident. He pleaded guilty in August 2023 to aggravated assault, and four other charges were dismissed with prejudice, and he reached a plea deal the following month.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives she continued to document Taylor and Dakota’s journey with cameras in the months after her arrest when she was pregnant with son Ever.
“I’m best known for my ‘Swinger Mom’ titles. I mean, the arrest, unfortunately, was another big thing all over the internet. And so I can say that those things are very bad – obviously [arrest] but the skater was also not a good thing that I want to be known for the rest of my life,” said Taylor Us in a separate interview conducted in August. “So, in the series, I really wanted them to see me and see more of me and my personality and a deeper level. I feel like I come off as a lot different online than what I talk about. So I felt like this was my chance to tell my story and take a closer look at who I am.”
Taylor accused Dakota of being dishonest about any potential overlap between Taylor and the other women he was seeing when they started dating. After the series began, Taylor said she and Dakota had committed to a future together following the birth of son Ever in March.
“I just want to take my time and this time, this time [would be] my second marriage. It’s going to be very important to me, and I don’t want to end up in another divorce situation,” Taylor explained. Us in August (before the show began airing). “So, I just want everything to be solid and based on trust. And so I feel that that takes time. I would like that to be the ultimate goal. But right now, I think building myself is where I’m at.”
At the time, Taylor noted that neither he nor Dakota saw what was taken from their relationship Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
“I feel like I’ve been open to my mother and I’ve been a little harsh – and she’s very sensitive – so I feel like it could be very difficult for her,” he added. [season] It’s a cliffhanger, so that in itself triggers some things. We’re doing well today, we’re doing the job, so hopefully not too much will come out. “
