There is some reason for homes to feel drab and strong. Even if the home is well made, it can be heard … close, in the way. That usually occurs when space has no soul – when all looks “right,” but nothing is good. Including a space neglected in style and personality is what converses the house to a home, and designers Amanda Leagh and Taylor Hahn of Rolisison’s household do this.
It was clear that their most recent project – Hollywood Hills Estate – had lost something important. There was a bones, but only. He left was a familiar home, and I was braver I said, it’s a boring. That is, until Leigh and Hahn are approaching and convert us.
With the rich, the Moody color palette and Bold, Design, this home is now available without a bold. Forward, we will take the home trip once sent and talk to the design group about courageous renewal.

What inspired rehabilitation, and what ultimately see the home that will be?
We wanted to bring a house without making us feel the same as the Pentureist board of Trends. When we started walking, it sounded like a person who had suffered everything to be loved. The building was still strong, but we missed the heart. Our viewpoint was to reconcile the idea of a person’s work – using historical objects, he ends their senses, and a palette that sounds rich but rich. Deep colors, trusted walls, and vintage materials are all selected to make space feel warm, with little cinematic.
How did you decide what to maintain and do so easily?
True, there was no more left to save, provided some creative freedom. But we kept the original windows with the stairell-first first power to the dominant powers – and we built this spirit. We are intended a vintage brick from the Facebook square (Lucky Find!) And we used it on a façade to provide a home for some years and sewing. Modern funeral, focused on working – things like lighting, make-up, and flowing to the nations trips without deleting its roots.

The home feels courageous in a sustainable way. What is your way of building that kind of impact and formation?
Courage does not have to say cold. We would like to create Tension-Moody tights with soft performance, clean lines mixed with a patina, a huge difference you have heard. It’s about a sound manure but not too officially. We want people to get in and feel something – but they know quickly where they put their coffee on the floor.

Have you been arranged in motivational base and black colors in every house – do you think of choosing the things making a statement without space?
Every time we are brave we should benefit from it. We love tones full of pieces and sharp pieces, but the key to give them a breathing space. We are approaching the same as raising room, unconscious – each item should have the purpose and minimum presence, even if it is subtle. The scope of the situation do not require the supporting dancers; They just need the correct baskrop.
How are you getting close to mixing old and new things to keep the design feels unexpected and timeless?
We always want that already. Even at the modern home, we try to mix pieces with little – something from vineyards, something green, something unexpected. Keeps space from the hearing or overly casted. We want to feel like a natural integration over time … even if it was done in a strong string and espresso.
Do you face challenges during this design process? How did you overcome them?
The biggest challenge was driving a courageous palette without allowing it to finish the construction. We were looking for the entire opportunity to influence, but not the cost of coincidence. So we kept focused on planning – if something did not bring an agreement, it did not make cuts. And we are visible for the most effective details – things like cutting shops or binding the place where you wouldn’t expect. You are beautiful, but if you cannot live in it luxuries, you miss point.
When I look back on the completed project, are there something particular aspect or thing?
Definitely outside. It was a Hodgodepod’s confusion when we started experienced experiences. It is one of those spaces where everything came together how we got it.
