Telangana Skills University: Megha Engineering announces Rs 200 crore building, campus construction – Telangana News

Another business development for Telangana government’s ambitious Skills University, a multi-sector infrastructure company, Megha Engineering Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) has come forward to assist in the construction of the building and campus of the institution.

MEIL has announced assistance of Rs 200 crore to the state government under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the construction of the entire university. The company has announced that it will build a University of Skills with modern infrastructure, officials said.

This action by MEIL came about a week after the Adani Foundation donated R100 to the Revanth Reddy government to establish this university.

MEIL representatives, led by Managing Director Krishna Reddy, held a meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat to discuss the construction of the university campus on Saturday. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers D Sridhar Babu, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, P Srinivas Reddy and MP Anil Kumar Yadav were also present.

During the meeting, the infrastructure company announced that the construction of the University of Skills campus will be done in a world-class manner.

MIEL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government for the construction of this building.

In August this year, Chief Minister Reddy performed ‘Bhumi Puja’ for building a Faculty University on 57 acres of land near Meerkhanpet in Kandukur mandal.

The Congress government in the southern state has decided to take up the construction of the institute to provide all the facilities including advanced teaching facilities for the students.

Reddy congratulated and thanked Megha Company for coming forward to build the university campus with CSR funds.

Meanwhile, MD Krishna Reddy, of MEIL, said that his company will also construct hostel buildings as well as study buildings, workshops and classrooms.

Models and designs of university buildings, which have already been prepared by architects, were presented to the builders at the meeting.

Reddy asked the officials to complete the designs of the buildings within a week and make preparations to start construction of the building from November 8. The Chief Minister assured all kinds of support on behalf of the state government.
