Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, his cabinet colleagues and Congress leaders on Wednesday took part in a protest at ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ here over the Adani issue and against “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to violence-hit Manipur”.
The protest was organized by the state Congress on the call given by the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud was among the party leaders and workers who also participated in the protest.
The protest rally started from the statue of Indira Gandhi near the Hussain Sagar lake and reached the Raj Bhavan.
The allegations against industrialist Gautam Adani in the US have damaged the image of the country, he said, adding that Prime Minister Modi has never visited Manipur despite the violence in the State.
