Ultraman has a good year 2024, between the launch of the latest light giant The Ultraman Arcand his stylish animated debut on Netflix’s The rise of Ultraman. But now Japan’s beloved size-shifting hero is getting international recognition for his killer art from a host of famous artists in the latest tribute to Ultraman trading card game.
Rub two Tsuburaya Ultraman: The Trading Card Game will arrive in early 2025, and will bring a host of card art featuring international comic artists. Joining the two-wave program is Sean Chen (Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Wolverine, Avengers, Batman Beyond, Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero), Reilly Brown (Amazing Spider-Man, Incredible Hercules, Lobo, Deadpool, Outrage), David López (Catwoman, All-New Wolverine, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Justice League), fiction legend Bob Eggleton (Godzilla, Jimmy Neutron, Magic: The Gathering, Famous Monsters of Filmland) and Davide Tinto (Ultraman: The Mystery of Ultraseven, Star Wars: Bounty Hunters, Marvel Action
Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Commanders In Crisis). They will be reunited Ultraman fan favorite Klenda Vee, who will bring the popular watercolor style of Ultra heroes and kaiju alike to the game.
