It’s one of the most modest pieces in any wardrobe – and the opposite is a great design. The White Button-Down Shirt is a fashion staple that transcends trends. Timeless, wearable, and versatile, it’s the answer to almost every outfit I can dream up.
Every morning, the dressing part wonders how I want it hear. Are you free? Posted? Is it warm? Good? Sporty with white sneakers? Feminine? White button – say yes to all. More than anything, it’s easy to wear, easy to style, and always feels good. Submitting to the daily uniform has become one of the least favors I give myself – which is why I don’t mind the growing line of button-downs hanging from my dress.

A brief history of the white button – down
The Brooks brothers claim the title of the composer The button-down is a colorful shirt, but it was Coco Chanel who introduced the silhouette to women’s fashion in the 1940s. In his street, the basic of the living, the basic of the fight and the personality are renewed by a strong woman in the waist, to highlight the structure and the structure.

The woven material became a garment
Start with what you want to feel like. Look for natural fibers whenever possible – they breathe better with age.
- Cotton poplin: CRISP and Poled – perfect for work days or when you want a formal “pressed” look.
- Linen: Lightweight and breathable, perfect for warm weather or a layer over a tank. Adopt a little animation (it’s part of the charm).
- Silk or Tencel: Adds drape and movement for a soft, lifted feel.
- Oxford cloth: It’s a little heavy and understated, giving what the boys borrowed.
Be strong

How to throw a white button – down
Some of my favorite buttons are remembered and borrowed and literally borrowed from guys. I like to start in the men’s section to find one silhouette that is both modern and classic. Look for Oxfords, OXfordents or wool shirts in natural fibers. Check the collars, buttons, and hems of the dress. How to keep your whites bright and shiny
If you’ve watched your crisp white shirt turn gray — or worse, stain — you’re not alone. Treat spills quickly (I swear by this stain), and wash the whites separately to prevent color transfer.
