Sonos continues to clean house as the company recovers from the hits it took following a redesign of its mobile app last year. Just a day after the company’s CEO Patrick Spence, chief product officer Maxime Bouvat-Merlin is also leaving. He will serve as an advisor to interim CEO Tom Conrad during the leadership transition before exiting Sonos entirely.

Sonos has been on the cutting edge since releasing a mobile app update in May that contained many bugs and lacked important features. The company’s financial results slowed down, ending in August. Sonos has made several attempts to keep its customers healthy in the wake of the app’s launch, and the decision to replace senior leadership appears to be the latest step in restoring public trust in the business.
