Janelle, Kody and Robyn
AdoptionJanelle Brown recent searches Sister Wives the episode in which there was a “separation”. Robyn Brown again Is Brownthe house – and all the children felt it.
“My kids, they got yelled at when they opened Robyn’s fridge,” Janelle, 55, said on the Sunday, Sept. 29, episode of the TLC series.
Janelle, who separated from Kody, 55, in 2022 after 30 years together, argued that Kody’s children with his first three wives did not receive as much attention when Robyn, 45, entered a large family. (Kody officially married Robyn in 2014 after divorcing his first wife Mary Brown. Meri, 53, and Kody remained spiritually married until their divorce in 2023. Kody’s third wife, Christine Brownhe left her in November 2021.)
According to Janelle, the tension wasn’t because her children didn’t like Robyn, but because Robyn had allowed Kody to not split his time equally between the other households.
“My kids always – like, from the beginning – knew their dad wasn’t always going to be around,” Janelle told the cameras. I always felt that Kody and Robyn mishandled this situation and her children.” (Kody and Janelle had six children together before the death of their son Garrison in March 2024. He was 25.)
Janelle said that Kody “wouldn’t be able to go more than three or four days because Ari would get upset about anything,” referring to Kody and Robyn’s 8-year-old daughter. The two share son Solomon, 12, and Kody adopted Robyn’s three older children from a previous marriage.
“I feel like that wasn’t good parenting,” Janelle laughed. “It’s everything [the] family history, some kids did it. They are alive.”
Robyn denied that her children received special treatment when the extended family was still together. He admitted that Ari “loved his dad” and “wanted to be with his dad” but argued that it didn’t interfere with Kody’s time with his other children.
“Did it ever stop Kody from going to another mother? No, it didn’t happen,” asserted Robyn. “I wouldn’t allow it.”
Robyn added that Meri, who shared Leon and Kody, he was “very welcoming” to his three older children “in all countries.” However, he said “the whole family was really hard to accept me and my children” and noted that all they wanted was “to be a part of this family.”
Christine, who lives with Kody’s six children, explained that her children stopped visiting Kody at Robyn’s because of how the adults interacted.
“My children didn’t like going there because they saw that Robyn and her father were a couple and he wasn’t home,” said Christine, 52. “They were frustrated about different things.”
Kody had a different version of events, saying, “Me and Christine were always making out at her house, and I think we forgot about that.”
As the situation escalated between his wives and their children, Robyn told the cameras that she was “crying” and “grieving” all the lost relationships. “[I’m] I have to deal with some of my depression,” she said.
Robyn added, “It’s very sad and I miss the family members.”
