Season 19 of Sister Wives was filmed almost two years ago, yet Kody Brown appears in scenes where he talks about recent events. He goes from snarling his ex-wives to cool in no time on screen. Also, she plays well in scenes that seem newer than others with Meri Brown. He was the same woman who had beaten him violently a few scenes earlier.
So, it’s surprising that these lighthearted scenes of Kody are appearing this season. A dead giveaway that some new scenes appear with old ones starting with looking at her kids. In particular, Ariella Brown seemed to grow into an unborn child overnight from a six-year-old child. So, for others Sister Wives fans, there is no doubt that Kody is going in a different direction at the last minute.
Is Kody Following The PR Road Planned For Him?
Sister Wives star Mykelti Brown Padron hinted at Kody and Robyn hiring a PR firm a while back. Fans think this is possible, especially after what they’ve seen so far in Season 19.
Kody never even apologized for his claims of not liking Meri, Christine Brown, or Janelle Brown. But he seems willing to do something else. So fans saw this last week when he spoke to Meri in a kind way. Then he even said that he likes to live with her.
He seemed to change his way of marrying Christine. So, maybe these new scenes are meant to soften Kody to the audience.
Sister Wives: Is Papa Brown’s Drama Bringing Back Fans?
Sister Wives featured in TLC’s most popular original series. Sometimes, it was behind 90 Day Boyfriend series franchise. So, giving viewers what they want seems like a good idea in the ratings, and that’s high drama.
But, many Sister Wives fans think Kody Brown went too far with his comments about his wives and children. So, perhaps to keep the series afloat as number one, Kody pulled in some PR people to do some damage control.
Sister Wives fans think that the scenes of Kody having fun are the result of some kind of PR. As audiences have fallen for Kody’s treatment of his ex-wives and children, scenes like family game night suddenly creep into Season 19.
This may be a coincidence, though Sister Wives fans don’t see it that way. They think Kody is getting used to the goodies he’s being rewarded with a TLC salary. And as a result, a friendly version of Kody Brown emerges from the ashes of what he portrayed in the past few seasons of this TLC series.
