Already playing without star wide receiver Davante Adams, the Las Vegas Raiders will likely be without teammate Jakobi Meyers again.
Meyers, who led the team among wideouts with 25 catches and 273 yards in five games, suffered an ankle injury last Sunday in a loss to the Denver Broncos. He was limited in practice on Friday but was listed as questionable, before being demoted to questionable on Saturday.
Meyers, who is in his sixth NFL season, has 331 catches for 3,838 yards and 17 touchdowns in his career.
With second-year quarterback Aidan O’Connell set to make his season debut Sunday when the Raiders play the Pittsburgh Steelers, the top receiver on the roster will be Tre Tucker, who has 18 receptions for 190 yards. . Tucker, Adams and Meyers each have one touchdown reception.
The team added receivers Alex Bachman and Kristian Wilkerson to the practice squad on Saturday.
The Raiders (2-3) are in last place in the AFC West.
