Pushpa 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 31: In its fifth week of running, Pushpa 2: Law continues to make moolah despite stiff competition from films in other languages. But the Allu Arjun juggernaut is certainly showing signs of slowing down considering that Friday the 5th saw collections dip below the Rs 5 crore mark for the first time. Although, the film regained its footing by making Rs 5.5 crore on Saturday, it is safe to assume that the dip is a sign of things to come, especially ahead of the Sankranti and Pongal releases in Telugu and Tamil cinema, respectively.
The New Year started on a strong note in the Sukumar chart as Pushpa 2 became the fastest entrant to the Rs 1800 crore club, with only one other film, Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Just as Allu Arjun’s protagonist in the film took over the syndicate, Pushpa 2 has taken the domestic market by storm, topping the list by dethroning Baahubal 2: The Conclusion, which held the record for seven years. Now, Pushpa 2 is a movie that will defeat the Indian films that want to break the various clubs of Indian cinema.

Although there is an onslaught of festive releases scheduled for the week, and the rise of Unni Mukundan’s Marco, which seems to be a favorite among Hindi cinema audiences, all is not lost with Pushpa 2. Although it is exciting that Marcoin the third week of its release, it gained audiences in Hindi, mainly with the collections of the Hindi version duplicating the numbers of the Malayalam version, there are no big Hindi films expected to release soon. So, it also comes in versions called movies like Ram Charan’s Changing the game that might be an option for the Hindi audience, and if things don’t go well in the new films, a familiarity with Pushpa might appeal, for sure.

According to rough estimates, the total domestic numbers of Pushpa 2 stands at Rs 1199 crore, and it is safe to assume that a new domestic club of Rs 1200 crore will be created by the end of the fifth weekend.
This is undoubtedly the biggest run of Pushpa 2, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. However, there is a high chance that the Telugu numbers will dip below the Rs 1 crore mark once the Sankranti release begins, but the Hindi version may still hold.
