Pushpa 2 Worldwide Collection Date 27th: New Year’s Eve turned out to be extremely successful for the makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule, as the film saw record collections at the box office. Pushpa 2 has earned Rs 7.65 crore, as per Sacnilk’s earlier estimates. The Allu Arjun starrer witnessed 15.51% occupancy in its Telugu version with more than 600 shows across India. Meanwhile, in the Hindi language, the film saw a 19.15% occupancy with nearly 3000 shows in India.
Pushpa 2 earned Rs 1.17 crore in Telugu, Rs 6.25 crore in Hindi, Rs 20 lakh in Tamil, Rs 2 lakh in Kannada, and Rs 2 lakh in Malayalam, respectively . The film grossed almost four times more than Varun Dhawan’s Baby John, which released on Christmas and was launched by Jawan filmmaker Atlee. With no competition in the coming weeks, Pushpa 2 is expected to cross the Rs 1800 crore mark, worldwide. The film was released on December 5 and previewed on December 4. As per the latest updates shared by Mythri Movie Makers, the film’s 25-day gross stands at Rs 1760.

The film collected Rs 1100 crore in its Hindi version alone, despite being originally made in Telugu language. At Rs 1760 crore, the film has already broken the record of Prabhas’ Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The film now stands at Rs 300 crore behind Dangal’s Rs 2070.3 crore. If it manages to surpass this figure, it will become the highest grossing Indian song of all time.
Pushpa 2’s box office numbers have been boosted by the increase in ticket prices till December 23 across Telangana. The film is running at standard prices across India. The creators were also criticized for ‘monopolising’ multiplexes. Film producer Vikramaditya Motwane condemned the act. Recently, other manufacturers have also highlighted the issue of the Galatta Plus round table.
