A week after actor Allu Arjun was granted conditional bail in the Sandhya 70 MM theater stampede case, a Nampally court has relaxed his bail conditions, exempting him from appearing before a coroner every Sunday.

The court also allowed him to travel abroad, only after informing the Chikkadpally Station House Officer (SHO) of his itinerary for each trip and giving details of his place of residence in the country he is going to till the case papers are filed. The court ruled that the actor must appear before the investigating officer if necessary.

This follows a request filed by the actor who wants the bail conditions to be relaxed. On January 3, the court granted the actor conditional bail, ordering him to appear before the investigating officer every Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm for two months or until the case is filed, whichever is earlier.

Allu Arjun appeared before the Chikkadpally police on Sunday (January 5, 2025) regarding the ongoing investigation into the case that claimed the life of a woman and left her son in hospital during the show of Pushpa 2 on December 4, 2024.

The actor was arrested on December 13, 2024 after being charged with involuntary manslaughter. A day later, he was released.
