Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Monday said that the state police have cracked down on the murder of a man in Jodhpur in Rajasthan state by arresting four suspects. Subhash alias Sohu was brutally shot five times in the head by two men, resulting in his death, at Sangriya on October 8.
In a text on X, which shared a video of the murder, Yadav said that the Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of the Punjab Police had launched a joint operation with the Mohali Police to solve the case. He said they investigated the suspects from a gang supported by Pavitar who is based in the USA and Manjinder in France. The suspects were recently arrested by AGTF and Mohali police in Derabassi.

“The mastermind, Bhanu Sisodia, admitted that he was planning to kill as an act of revenge for the killing of his colleague, Anil Lega, in February 2024. Mohd. Asif and Anil Kumar Godara played a key role as masterminds in the commission of the crime,” Yadav said.
Yadav said that all four suspects have now been arrested by the Derabassi police, and the investigation is ongoing.
