PM Modi will address BAPS Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a practical speech at the Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav, a grand celebration marking 50 years of selfless service by the volunteers of Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan (BAPS) Sanstha.

The event, held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, honors the dedication of more than 100,000 volunteers who are involved in building a global community of service, devotion, and spirituality.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and members of the state Cabinet will also participate in the celebration. The Prime Minister’s speech will pay tribute to the continuous efforts and dedication of the volunteers who carried forward the vision of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

Brahmvihari Swami of BAPS gave a tour of the volunteer network of the sect, which began in 1972 with 11 active members, including representatives from India, the US, the UK and Africa.

“This gathering is not to show strength but to show gratitude. Today, we have almost one lakh karyakars, and this event is dedicated to honor their endless service,” he said.

Volunteers from more than 30 countries, including Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa, participated in the historic celebration.

This program features the detailed work of more than 2,000 volunteers, focusing on the theme of “seed, tree, and fruit,” showing the growth and impact of volunteer service. In-depth presentations, videos, and narratives will shed light on the incredible contributions of volunteers. Event facilities have been created at Raysan, Sarangpur, and Shahibaug to enhance the visual appeal.

In the world’s largest cricket stadium, the Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav emphasizes the power of collective devotion and service, which embodies the legacy of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
