First up is the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards in January, which features a host of nominees including Angelina Jolie (Maria), Demi Moore (Something), Timothée Chalamet (The Complete Unknown) and Cynthia Erivo (They are not bad). January 5: Golden Globe Awards

Days before the Critics Choice Awards were scheduled for January 12, the event was postponed to January 26 due to the ongoing fire in Los Angeles. “This tragedy has already had a great impact on our society. All our thoughts and prayers are with those fighting the devastating fires and all those affected,” said the CEO. Joey Berlin noted in the statement.
February 2: Grammy Awards

Kevin Winter/Getty Images for The Recording AcademyIn response to the Los Angeles wildfires, the Recording Academy sent out an announcement to members on January 13, that the Grammys will be a fundraising effort. “In cooperation with local authorities to ensure public safety and efficient use of local resources, the telecast of the 67th GRAMMY Awards on CBS on February 2 will go ahead as planned,” the letter read. “However, this year’s parade will have a renewed purpose: to raise additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and to honor the courage and sacrifice of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours.”
