Queenpins it’s funny, and plays more like a serious crime drama, with Kaminski and Johnson representing a pair of Tony Montana or Pablo Escobar-style crime bosses. The film was written and directed by husband and wife duo Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly, based on the true story of suburban moms in the Phoenix, Arizona area, who pulled the same coupon gadget in 2012.
