When Netflix announced that it had renewed its rom-com series Nobody Wants This season two, fans are instantly happy to know that they hate Joanne and Noah’s love story.
The show, which premiered in September 2024, began with a 10-episode order, following the unlikely romance between sex host Joanne (Kristen Bell) and the “hot” rabbi Noah (Adam Brody). It received excellent reviews upon its release, and has remained in the top 10 of Netflix ever since.
“Creation Nobody Wants This it will be a highlight of the work for me forever,” the creator of the show Erin Foster told Netflix in a story published on October 10. “The amazing cast, crew, producers, and management have all made this the show it is today, and hearing the audience’s reaction to this series as it has gone out into the world has been even more so. anything I could dream of.”
The first season ended with Noah seemingly giving up his chance to become chief rabbi at his synagogue to be with Joanne, who said she was not ready to convert to Judaism.
“What should he do? What should he do? Which version of adventure is right for you? What does it mean to grow up, or what does it mean to lose yourself in order to be with someone else? It’s a gift,” Brody explained to Netflix. “But really, you grow together and you’re better for it — you don’t have to [lop] without a hand.”

What Is The Status Of ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2?

It’s not just that Nobody Wants Ushas been renewed, but filming will begin in late January 2025 and wrap in April. While it’s too early to start thinking about release dates, if all goes well, season 2 could premiere late next year.
In a November 1 appearance on Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis Live on the radio, Foster said things are going as planned.
“Have the documents been written? No,” he said. “But we just did the script assignments yesterday, so we’re deciding who’s going to write what, and we have stories for all the episodes, and they’re in the process of being approved by Netflix.”
